We try our best to source all of our potatoes from Britain. Occasionally and in the event of a bad potato harvest we may have to source potatoes from out side the UK although this happens very infrequently.

Sunflower oil is lower in saturated fat than some other oils used in the crisp industry and gives our products great texture, flavour and mouth-feel.

It takes approximately one medium sized potato to make one 25g bag of Golden Wonder crisps

All fats contain the same amount of calories, however saturates are the ones to watch as they can be a factor in high cholesterol levels. Mono unsaturates and polyunsaturates are better for you than saturates. Polyunsaturates can help to lower blood cholesterol levels if consumed as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Golden Wonder crisps are cooked in sunflower oil. Sunflower oil contains 62% polyunsaturated fat.

One 25g bag of Golden Wonder crisps contains 0.5g salt. You should aim to eat no more than 6g of salt per day. In one 25g pack of Golden Wonder crisps there is 8% of your guideline daily amount of salt (Note: Excludes Salt & Vinegar flavour)
